This is Doge, a very luxurious suspended ceiling lantern with gold-plated metal parts, designed by Napoleone Martinuzzi for Venini, the world-famous and very prestigious Venetian glass-making house.

In the Venetian tradition, it is very generously sized.

The lantern has been enjoying a revival over the past couple of years. We are used to the idea of seeing lanterns in porches, but now they've taken their rightful place as ceiling pendants in bedrooms, living rooms, and in stairwells.

The price quoted here is for the smaller size in clear glass.
